This guide shows you how to add or edit your Unit Types in effectmanager.
This guide is only of relevance if you have the promotion module in effectmanager.
In effectmanager the standard setting for Unit Types are; Consumer Unit, Colli Unit, Pallet Unit, Mix-Pallet Unit.
If you need further Unit Types in effectmanager or you want to edit the standard Unit types see below how to do this.
You can also delete Unit Types that you do not need in your promotion planning.
NB! It is very important to use the identification keys for effectmanager to identify the type of unit correctly. Consumer Unit = 0, Colli = 1, Pallet = 2, and Mix-Pallet = 3.

Adding or Editing Unit Types
Go to settings and in the sidebar menu press Products.
1. To edit your Unit types press Units tab in Products Settings.
2. In the Units tab, press Unit Types to open the pop-up window.
3. In the pop-up window, the created Unit Types are shown, you can now Add, Eidt, or Remove your Unit Types.
🔴OBS! Making corrections to your unit types will affect how units are view in Promotion Scheduler and in the Promotion Cube. Please be aware that corrections made here will affect all users of effectmanager.
4. If you Add or Edit a Unit type a new pop-up window will ask you to fill in the mandatory fields and finish by pressing Save.
🔴OBS! If you allow Baseline changes on Delivery Units, this affects how you maintain your Baseline in effectmanager. Please review the guide How to maintain sales in effectmanager
5. If you want to delete a Unit Type, select the Unit type in the window and press Remove.
In the new pop-up window, you will be asked to confirm your deletion of the Unit Type.
