This guide shows you how to re-upload historical POS data for BFI.
Please contact effectmanager at support@effectmanager.com if you need to re-upload historical data for BFI.
Carefully read our recommendations below for re-uploading historical data.
- We recommend 12-18 months of re-uploaded history.
- We recommend sending us a test file before uploading your historical data.
- You need to upload your files Wednesday to Friday and no more than 5 x 20MB files every half hour - this is to make sure not to overload the system, which can make your upload fail.
- You need to contact effectmanager before re-uploading your historical data. Then effectmanager will follow-up on the data being read into the cube successfully.

Adding brands or products to your portfolio
If you have acquired a new brand or product, you need to contact BFI and have them send new files to you.
When ordering new POS reports from BFI, you need to keep the following in mind:
Is your new brand or product active in the same category as you are today?
Yes: Order new sales-files with all products in the same file.
No: Order sales-files for your new brands or products. Order new category files.
🔴OBS! effectmanager has a limit of 20 MB for BFI files when uploading. If the files exceed 20MB you will need to split the files.
Procedure for ordering historical data:
- Your Key Account Manager orders new POS files with all your brands or products.
- You can upload your historic BFI files to effectmanager Wednesday to Friday, to make sure not to overload the system.
- Please inform effectmanager before starting the re-upload of historical data.
- effectmanager will follow up on the historical data sent from BFI.
