How to use Sales Exports

This guide shows you how to use Sales per Day and Sales per Week sales exports.

The Sales per Day and Sales per Week export contain promotion sales for all products listed with the chains.

How to execute the export one time

You can execute the Sales per Day or Sales per Week report from Reports - Exports in effectmanager. 

The report can be executed using saved filters or using the filter selected.

1. Go to reports and press the report you wish to execute.

2. Select your filters or load a saved filter. 

🔴OBS! You must remember to select if you want the report in Units or Measure. 
If you select a measure, please be aware that it matches the measure given to the products in Settings/Products and if you have different Unit Measures set, the report can be a mix of Liter, Grams, Kilo, etc.

3. Press Load Report.Execute 3.0

4. Once you see the text in the report, you can schedule a task for sending the report. Execute 4.0

5. For a one-time execution of the report, you schedule the task directly in the current window. Read more here about how to schedule a task.

🔴OBS! As the report is quite big, we always recommend planning the execution to happen after business hours to ensure the successful execution of the export.

You can execute the Sales per Day or Sales per Week report from Settings - Scheduled tasks in effectmanager. 

The reports can only be executed using saved filters. Please read the guide for saved filters.

Data in the Promotion Sales reports

The Sales per Day and Sales per Week reports hold promotion data on a daily or weekly level. 

Below is a description of the volume columns in the files. 

Sales per Day

  • The file has all products listed with the chains selected with volumes on a daily level. Product information is in columns D-I.
  • The wholesaler and chain information is in columns J-L. 
  • The products that are on promotion are marked so with the Promotion nr in column M. The remaining promotion information as Promotion Dates and Deliver dates are in columns N-Q.
  • The file has promotion volumes in the selected Unit Mode in columns R-AB. 

Sales per Week

  • The file has all products listed with the chains selected with volumes on a weekly level. Product information is in columns C-H.
  • The wholesaler and chain information is in columns I-K. 
  • The products that are on promotion are marked so with the Promotion nr in column L. The remaining promotion information as Promotion Dates and Deliver dates are in columns M-P.
  • The file has promotion volumes in the selected Unit Mode in columns R-AA.
