This guide answers the question of, why there may be a difference between the Sales Figures in the Online POS reports and in the POS cube.
Sometime you may experience that there is a difference between the Sales Figures in the Online POS report and a report in your POS cube.
The answer to why this happens is quite simple and is most likely due to one of the reasons below.
- Not looking at the same report
- Not using the same filters
Not looking at the same report
In the Online POS reports you must be aware that some reports have 3 different period hierarchies.
If you compare the online POS report Turnover Week-Week with a report build in your POS cube, with the filters below, you will get different results.
Chain: Bilka
Period: 01st of January to the 19th of January 2020
In your Online Turnover per Week-Week report, you will have data for full weeks with data between Monday the 30th of December 2019 to Sunday the 10th of January 2020.
In your POS report in the cube, you will have data from the 01st of January to the 19th of January
Here you can read more about the different POS reports in effectmanager.
A difference in filters:
Your filtering is different in the Online Report and your report in the POS cube in Excel.
Please double check that you have the same selection in your filters.
