Why are my products in unknown?

This article provides an answer to the question of why some of your products are mapped as unknow in your POS cube.

effectmanager can enrich the POS data from your customers with your own categorization. This is done using the EAN code of the product.  
If you have products mapped as unknown first you need to check

Are the products created in effectmanager? 

Yes, my products are created in effectmanager
Then why are my products mapped as unknown?

No, my products are not created in effectmanager 
Then you must create the products in effectmanager

Then you must create the products in GS1 for it to be created in effectmanager
